Jaime Melton has enjoyed a career with over 12 years of experience in media relations and marketing. Her background includes working with clients in an agency setting as well as in-house positions in public relations and development.
She was previously the Director of Public Relations at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga (RMHC). There, she managed development and public relations planning for annual, capital and special event fundraising. While there, she garnered two national RMHC awards for her work in publicizing the grand re-opening and creating a turnkey fundraising program within 35+ local McDonald’s restaurants that was later adopted as a national fundraising program. Other significant accomplishments there included a major website redesign, coordination of multiple grant and RMHC scholarship programs and a major media announcement for the local Ronald McDonald Care Mobile through a partnership with T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital.
Prior to RMHC, Jaime was a Public Relations Manager and Account Executive at the former ddN advertising agency, [now Neathawk Dubuque and Packett.] There, she managed advertising and public relations work for national and local clients, including Panera Bread, Erlanger, United Way, Collins and Aikman Floorcoverings, Chattanooga Downtown Partnership, Chattanooga Zoo and Cleveland Community Hospital. Her recognized media coverage includes all local and regional media outlets as well as the Tennessean, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta Magazine and TBS television programming. While there, she worked primarily in Bacon's Media Directories, both print and online versions.
