About Me

Looking outside my neighborhood is one of my favourite activities, and I encourage everyone to try it sometime. We all, in our daily life, often get a bit too comfortable in our own environment and we forget to look to other people, their experiences and learn from them. And it is also useful to remember that ones position is not the center of the universe..

Project managers within Information Technology in Norway, such as myself, dont have a very large community and I feel the need to stay updated on whats happening outside our own small backyard. Looking across borders through the web, the blogs, the community pages and social networking sites is a very good way to start doing that. And by communicating through these channels I thing we all get more experienced in how to share our knowledge with each other. This I like, and I hope to contribute with my share..

My background is since middle of the 90's in IT. First on the technical side and then from a more administrative perspective. Since 2000 my experience has been mostly IT management and project management and I have therefore decided to sharpen my focus in the project management direction.
Sinse then I have experienced large projects with both development, implementation and deployment of new services for my customers. Today I run my own company which resides in Oslo, Norway and I am offering services for medium and large companies, both locally and globally.

After work I spend my time with the most important parts of life; family and friends: I enjoy being out on open waters with my boat or spending quiet evenings in our cabin.
