About Me

I am a Cuban from Miami who has been living in Tallahassee, Florida for nearly a decade. I am Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and currently work as the PR Director for Kidd Group, an integrated communications firm. Prior to joining Kidd, I worked as a senior account executive at Ron Sachs Communications specializing in media buying, media relations, and special event planning. Prior to working in public relations, I worked as a producer and general assignment reporter at WCTV, Tallahassee's CBS affiliate.

I am the president-elect of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Capital Chapter and will take over as President in August of 2010. I'm also a member of the Junior League of Tallahassee and serve on the board as PR Chair. I also participate in Access Tallahassee and Connect Florida.

I am an FPRA Image and Golden Image Award winner and received my first EMMY Award in 2009 for the "Explore Adoption" 30-minute TV special. In 2008 I was recognized as one of Tallahassee's "25 Women you need to know." I'm a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Mass Media Studies and am fluent in Spanish and French.
