Presently, I have been "campaigning" for a position in the non-profit sector due to being downsized from my previous employer. Do you need someone to prepare meals for children with special needs in a non-for-profit setting? Teach basic cooking skills to students with special needs? I have dual degrees in Special Education and Hospitality Administration. In my spare time, I volunteer at the American Cancer Society which is another of my career passions along with cooking, and updating my skills. Intrigued?
Hope has 1 recommendation including:
Hope is currently a member of the Fight Back Council whose mission is to educate Relay For Life volunteers, many of whom are caregivers and survivors, about the ways in which the American Cancer Society is helping people stay well, get well, finding cures and fighting back against cancer. Hope is especially passionate about health education and advocacy. She was a caregiver for many family members who were touched by cancer and now volunteers at the DuPage office of the American Cancer Society in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.” January 7, 2010
