Honey has a PhD in rhetoric and composition and currently works in higher education administration in Phoenix, Arizona. Although she wasn’t popular in middle school (Who was? She’d really like to meet those people now…), she joined the dance team in high school and a sorority in college, gradually becoming more outgoing and socially savvy. Unfortunately, the caliber of her relationships didn’t improve at the same rate. After some bad experiences in LTRs, she decided to focus on herself—moving across the country to get a PhD. She swore that her career would always come first.
After dating casually for over three years, thereby earning a reputation as a commitment-phobe among her new friends, she met a great guy 5 days before he was moving 120 miles away. They have been exclusive since their first date and have been together over three years. Not only has her commitment phobia been thoroughly disproven, she’s also learned the art of compromise during the time they’ve been together, including adjusting her career path to accommodate her relationship while remaining her own person.
