About Me

Holly Dunckel is the GSBA Resource Center Manager. Before her involvement in GSBA, Holly was the SAE Formula Hybrid Team Manager of the collegiate chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. Before the Formula Hybrid team was formed, she was the Baja Team Manager for two years. Ms. Dunckel achieved a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly and an Engineer-in-Training certificate in 2008. She worked at Alien Technology in Silicon Valley for three years in the manufacturing department reverse-engineering and documenting parts and assemblies as a Mechanical Engineering intern and made production improvement recommendations as an Industrial Engineering intern. At Cal Poly, she performed research on cutting tool composition for Genius Metals and worked as a CAD specialist for POLY GAIT, the RFID center on campus. After graduation, she worked on an emission-free pizza oven and pool heating system at Anaerobe Systems in Morgan Hill, California. For her thesis project, Holly made marketing and supply chain management recommendations for Tillage Management in Tulare, California. Ms. Dunckel is currently earning an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and an M.B.A. through the Engineering Management Program at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
