Stacyann Forrester Does anyone know if it's possible to move content from one blog to another? I'm thinking about changing domain names.

Paul Balcerak: @Melanie @Helen - I would imagine it exports photos (especially with WP-to-WP), but I don't know. I've never actually done it.

Cameron Plommer I'm curious if you guys have multiple blogs that serve different purposes. I started out blogging about everything and soon realized that isn't a smart strategy. And isn't really a strategy at all. I have two blogs: one Wordpress and one Tumblr. My WP blog is mainly for longer posts where I am more analytical and pragmatic, serious. My Tumblr is for my random thoughts that aren't really appropriate for a my WP blog theme and direction.

Whether it be profession-related, or just a specific topic - it should be what you are blogging the most about. Then keep more of a personal/freelance kind of blog is that is meant to cover a wider variety of topics.
It offers a sort of balance between formal blog with a goal and target audience, and a more casual blog that can have a specific audience or appeal to many.

paulmacp I am building a plugin for WordPress that integrates WP into a Facebook Fan Page. This plugin does use RSS, but is an integration between the WP API and the FB API. This allows for you do include or exclude categories from the feed and include graphics specific to the FB feed from the WP Dashboard. You can see it in action here ( http://www.facebook.com/paulmacpdotcom ) under the "blog posts" tab. I am curious to see if anyone else sees value in this plugin for their blog?

Ryan Paugh I'm wondering how people are using Foursquare ... Where are you checking in vs. not checking in? I think that some people are checking in at stupid places (ex: my buddy Joe's futon), but based on the conversation I just had w/ Tyler (see thread below), I am thinking about checking in at places I normally wouldn't check it at, like the grocery store. What's your Foursquare etiquette?

BTW, as a counterpoint to what mark has said, if you don't have a powerful site in google's eyes (which is most of us), then the chance of google or any search engine indexing more than 2/5 posts or so could be remote. Keep that in mind. I don't know what your site is though.

TOP IDEA: Louis Gray Rapid consumption and comprehension of content is power. With more information coming at us from more places at an ever-increasing rate, we must learn to not only consume from multiple places simultaneously, but also improve our filters to find the best content and most relevant information. We should not be unafraid to stop bad habits or time wasting activity, to unsubscribe from off-topic sites, or exchange one practice for another.

Amani Roberts: Well said Louis. I agree. Stoping bad habits is the most difficult but not impossible.

TOP IDEA: Daniel Sunshine I'm starting a new media innovation and trends group and would like to invite Brazen members to get in touch if you are interested in playing a roll. The group will identify top online and tech trends and will collaborate to create blog posts on the subjects. This is a great way to focus on topics that interest you and feature your insights to a broader audience. I used to head National Geographic's Gen Y Trends Group and love analyzing the impact of innovation. Post a comment if interested.

As I headed down to the post-panel reception in the lounge, I decided to check in on 4Sq and discovered Pop Burger was just around the corner on 9th and had good reviews and a relatively inexpensive (for NYC) menu, so I popped over there to eat. Actually, I first stopped at Simple Kitchen, which also popped up when I checked in at Comix, even though they were more pricey because they offer a 4Sq discount. Unfortunately, by the time I got there, they were closed, so I went back to Pop Burger.

Mara L Hey guys! I need a little insight on something. I'm considering taking a web programming class(web design) since I'm visual and everything is on the internet these days. (I know I sound silly asking about web design). I know there are sites out there that make it easier, but I want it to add it to my skils work wize, building from the ground and up. The last class I took was in HS using dreamweaver. What program is more widely used in creating sites? The dreamweaver 8, cs3/4 or xhtml?

I learned that online classes are not for me (the two week window catered to my procrastination). It was an interesting class, and I did learn a lot (thanks to the provided notes, I have a good reference). It was a neutral experience, again because it was online. I took the class out of boredom from the weeklong blizzard on the east and because I did wanted to add something to my resume.

Perhaps you know a graphic designer that can give some insight into good visual design in relation to the web.
