About Me

My name is Heather Nyhart and I am launching a business designed to simultaneously rock the coffee mug market and provide aid to victims of sex trafficking across the globe.

My three passions are Christ, the Arts, and Culture. All three of these passions are fused together in my business, Ransom Me.

Ransom Me gives consumers the opportunity to help ransom a life held captive in sexual servitude. There are a number of incredible organizations around the globe making a tangible impact on sex trafficking. Ransom Me sets itself apart from competitors by not only selling unusual mugs displaying original, edgy, and captivating graphic art, but also by championing a social cause. Each mug design is paired with a non-profit actively tackling sex trafficking in an area of the world. A majority of profits made from the sale of each design will then be sent to the accompanying non-profit.

There are an estimated 8 million women and 2 million children enslaved in sexual exploitation, and it's a pandemic that has seeped into every corner of the world, including our own. According to the Dept. of Justice, the average age of a prostitute in the US is 13.

There is a voice crying out, echoing a call for every nation.

Rescue the chained.
Restore the broken.
Redeem the lost.
Reclaim the taken.
Revive the weary.

• I get to work with incredible artists to create sick mug designs and liase with the non-profits tackling sex trafficking that will benefit from the sale of our product. We are currently looking for seed funding to launch.

• Cornerstone Christian Fellowship

• I hang out with Jr. High Students and guide them in confronting their insecurities and finding their worth in Christ. I play a role in event coordinating and creative planning for the youth ministries and, on occasion, for church-wide teaching series. Cornerstone is a place of booming creativity and named one of the fastest growing churches in the US.

• Assisted the Manager of a small non-profit in London dedicated to promoting safe childbirth in the Former Soviet Union.
