About Me

Harry McIntosh, from bonny Scotland in Europe, moved to Vancouver, BC in 2006, in search of the perfect work life balance. Snowboard nights in winter, beach bathing in summer after work, all the while continuing a focussed career in IT screams realization of balance.

Graduating from University of Stirling, Scotland, with honours in Computing Science he gained employment with a small company enjoying the dynamic lifestyle it offered. Now sitting on the other side of the fence (and pond), with a corporation in Vancouver, he is learning and playing the corporate ladder (it's starting to click - and yes, it's fun!).

With a big picture outlook on life, he is now seeking to gain leadership opportunities and progress his career from web applications development to team leadership and management, getting back to focusing on the people.

Harry loves snowboarding, outdoors, technology, (most of) the arts, culture, and saying yes! His blog has career focussed articles and plans in IT and leadership; balanced with arts, culture and life. Harry says yes!
