As a key member of Citi’s Global Consumer Group Staffing Team, responsible for providing sourcing and staffing solutions to businesses within Consumer Operations to include CitiBank, CitiFinancial, CitiCards, and CitiMortgage.
• Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to conduct new hire orientation presentations and management training.
• Manage the employee referral program to ensure accurate and timely payouts.
• Ensure exceptional internal and external customer service by consistent follow up and taking appropriate actions on customer feedback.
• Ensure adherence to all staffing processes, requirements and hiring laws, which involves tested non-exempt / non-tested positions and exempt level positions.
• Partner with the business’ hiring team to meet staffing requirements through the use of social networking and other innovative resources.
• Support hiring needs and provide staffing solutions for departments within Citi’s U.S based organization.
Responsible for the overall operations of the human resources function of a customer service call center employing 400+ employees. Managed all facets of HR to include recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation of benefits, record-keeping, unemployment hearings, FMLA and Short/Long Term
medical leaves. Addressed employee complaints and grievances.
• Conducted efficiency training to an all-inclusive HR staff during corporate annual meetings.
• Conducted bi-yearly training on various HR functions to call center management staff.
• Streamlined new hire paperwork process, resulting in substantial time reduction of processing new hire paperwork.
• Solely responsible for recruiting, background screening process and hiring of candidates needed to fulfill weekly hiring requirements.
• Increased the company’s “Win” ratio of unemployment claims by 90%.
