About Me

After completing my BA at Fordham University, I spent two years in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps.

During my first year of JVC I worked in client services and dispensed medication at an HIV/AIDS services agency and hospice home in Portland, ME. My second year of JVC was in Boston, MA where I led middle school youth and trained and coordinated volunteers at the St. Stephen's After School Program and the B-SAFE summer program.

I graduated from Columbia University's Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences program in May. My research interests are in social policy, specifically education and the home-school connection.

Currently, I am working as a research assistant at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health. I enjoy performing the research that will inform health policymakers.

I am interested in pursuing a career that combines my love of research with my excellent leadership and people skills; hopefully to help reform our public education system.
