About Me

I have over six years of engineering management experience growing technical organizations responsible for product development, testing and customer incident management. As co-founder and President of a software startup, I've also gained valuable experience building an entire business from the ground up, raising capital, product management, and business development.

I've excelled at building strong cultures that are results driven, customer focused, and fun to be a part of even in the most challenging times. As a strong team advocate, I work hard at mentoring everyone on the team and guiding the team to produce fantastic products.

• * Led the creation of an innovative software platform that changes the way software is created.
  * Authored the business plan to drive early product strategy, set budgets, and model revenue projections.
  * Raised a significant amount of equity capital to fund the business.
  * Negotiated and executed contracts with strategic partners and customers to license Sharendipity technology.

• * Grew an engineering team as the company went from $10M to $100M in revenue.
  * Responsible for as many as twenty engineers split between the US and India.
  * Built a new engineering management structure and culture for a post-startup business. Excelled at motivating and reconciling the conflicts of a diverse group of individuals under tight deadlines.
  * Delivered more than ten software releases on time and without a single FDA audit.
  * Performed root cause analysis of patient safety related defects and interfacing with regulatory affairs to communicate with the install base as well as the FDA.
  * Established engineering-level escalation team and procedures to manage critical customer issues.

• * Improved image launch times by 70%. Excelled at performance analysis and tuning for multiple aspects of the product.
  * Delivered the first wide area network distributed solution of the enterprise viewer through the use of standards based, open source software packages reducing cost and timing by 50%.
  * Member of a small team taking L3 service escalations for customer incidents. This was a 24x7 responsibility that required direct customer interaction, live site modifications, and timely issue resolution.

• * Ported the entire infrastructure of the cross-connect software to a new operating system, and debugged it on a new hardware platform.
  * Led the effort of porting the filesystem functionality, which included the development of "search" and disk drive maintenance tools that were not provided by the new filesystem.
