About Me

I suppose I'm a classic boomer. I became "born-again" into the counterculture in 1970 and born again into Christ in 1972. I studied US History at the PhD level in the early 1980s. I developed a 21 year career in the field of adult literacy beginning in 1987, which included the publication of my book, Conflicting Paradigms in Adult Literacy Education http://www.amazon.com/Conflicting-Paradigms-Adult-Literacy-Education/dp/0805846247.

It was in my work at Literacy Volunteers of Greater Hartford that I met Chris Schonberger and his wonderful mother, Pam. I was recently downsized and am in the process, at age 61, of reinventing my vocation.

To establish a vocational package where I can work out of my strongest set of skills & interests
To combine my passion of writing with vocation
To integrate my vocational and spiritual identities
To expand my knowledge of organizational dynamics and technology
To become a Christian life coach in three years
