Getting into the publishing world has been a dream of mine for years. As far as I can recall, I was first published at the age of 13, contributing a regular diary to an online magazine. I was a geek with helicopter parents and had little excitement in life at that point, but clearly my writing made up for it since I wasn't immediately fired as might have been expected.

In the years gone by, I've contributed to various publications, both print and web, and have a particular interest in online media and all it entails.

Since graduating in December 2009 I have been working full-time as an online news editor. Basically, I get to indulge my perfectionist tendencies along with the odd bit of writing. It's pretty much the perfect job for me.
