I am a Reinsurance Business Analyst for the leading U.S. based surplus lines insurer, Lexington Insurance. My job consists mostly of contract and project management.
In my free time I volunteer for Fairy DogParents (fairydogparents.org) managing their facebook fan page, writing and editing, and e-mail marketing. I also enjoy volunteering for Little Brothers for the Elderly (boston.littlebrothers.org) in Jamaica Plain. Recently, I started a pet website/blog called TheStannyDiaries.com, about my adventures with my disabled dog, Stanley.
Provide analytical, documentation, treaty placement support and project management for department, liaising with internal and external resources, on combined 60+ treaty placements annually-new and renewal business
Analyze existing systems, processes and workflows to identify needs and implement changes for users and management.

Claims administration of 50-60 disability claimants, each holding between 1-10 policies across different blocks of business. Required a working knowledge of Unum disability products, policies and contracts.
Determined liability through investigation, research, and analysis (medical, occupational, and financial). Identify and resolve issues relating to claim information.
Employed basic medical and technical claims skills, an understanding of claim practices and legal procedures, and provided excellent customer service while resolving conflict and managing difficult situations appropriately.
Worked within specified territory, to identify, qualify, and pursue leads in a strategic manner to support two outside sales representatives.
Generated new business through prospecting, research, cold calling, networking and relationship building. Able to identify prospects by utilizing numerous sources including, but not limited to, job boards, blogs, networking websites, and articles.
