I am currently a Northern Virginia Community College student who will be graduating in May 2012 with an Associates of Science degree in Business Administration and will be transferring in Fall 2012 to a four-year university to obtain a Bachelors degree in Marketing.
I am also the Social Media Marketing Director for DB4 Consulting, LLC, a government contractor support consulting firm, where my responsibilities include researching and maintaining the company's social media networks.
I am looking for work (full time, can be an internship) in addition to my DB4 Consulting, LLC position for the summer of 2012 (starting in early May and ending in mid-August) before I transfer in Fall 2012.
Research how to effectively use social media for business as well as maintain company's social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+.

DB4 Consulting, LLC is a support organization dedicated to the needs of the government contractor. We provide end-to-end support to firms that need to deliver world-class services to government clients, but may not have the full-time resources available to fill specific gaps.We specialize in competitive pipeline management (Competitive Pipeline Management (CPM©), Strategic Business Development, Full Life Cycle Capture Management, Merger, and Acquisition Integration Support.
Assist DB4 Consulting, LLC's clients with proposal support. Possible duties may include helping with small tasks such as editing proposal resumes and filling out various proposal documents such as customer surveys, proposal receipts, etc. Other duties include ordering lunch, printing documents/putting binders together, making tabs, maintaining and purchasing office supplies, and being a "gopher" (go for this, go for that).
This position is on a project by project basis meaning I only work when I'm needed on a part-time schedule.
Provided company with common receptionist tasks such as answering and transferring phone calls, greeting visitors, maintaining a clean lobby area, ensuring publications are current and available to visitors, delivered mail, received packages and notified package recipient, and arranged courier/taxi pickup.
Other duties included ordering office and kitchen supplies including special requests, distributed birthday and service anniversary gifts to employees, assisted with coordination of catering needs for meetings, accounting department with scanning, emailing, and filing of expense reports, and the training of a possible new receptionist, and provided support as needed throughout the organization.
This position was a temporary part-time summer position.
Provided file reconciliation, scanning, and records maintenance for old contract actions including original RFP's, SOW's, executed task orders and contracts, and billing documents as well as other tasks as needed.
Temporary position supporting contracts department with schedule around school hours.
Updated resume database for the entire company (1,400 employees) which included: reconciling required resume list with current roster, tasking employees for resume updates and reformatting resumes. Assisted proposal efforts with logistics support (badges, food, etc...), QA'd proposals, and started to learn how to desktop publish. Acted as a photographer for various events and projects as needed. Completed other tasks as needed.
Temporary summer internship supporting the proposal and production department.
Updated the company’s resume database for a specific section of the company (about 400 employees), which included asking employees for their resume and reformatting them if necessary. Coordinated food and drinks, if required, for meetings and acted as a photographer for a couple events when needed. Learned how to use an electronic timesheet, and use various programs such as Privia, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Outlook. Completed other tasks as needed.
