I was part of a research team that developed a Microcredit Toolkit for new microcredit organizations. The toolkit discusses the basics of starting a microcredit organization and explores what steps are needed for program growth and expansion.

I also volunteer at the DHF fundraising events, which are always full of good music, food and people.

I played a large part in shaping the Austin office’s competitive strategy, developing proposals both domestically and internationally. I conducted industry and market research for several proposals for Latin American projects, and developed relationships with Latin American partners. I also compiled research and was on the writing team for a Best Practices Guidebook on Leasing and Managing Airport Property, to be published later this year by the Transportation Research Board.

-Completed a one week study tour in Budapest, Hungary
-Studied abroad for 6 months in Lima, Peru (took economics, marketing and HR classes taught entirely in Spanish)

-Studied abroad for one semester in Sevilla, Spain
