Ryan Paugh 4 more episodes left...I'm freaking out a little bit. Let's take a poll. Who is everyone's #1 pick for the candidate that will be replacing Jacob? I'm picking Sawyer. His life in the alternate timeline doesn't seem any happier...Maybe he'll be the one to stay behind and "protect" the island. What's your pick?

Tom Graber: Jack. Now wait..Hurley. Actually Hurly makes sense. Then again Desmond... oh, I have no clue

I don't think it's Desmond though. I think he has another purpose there that I haven't quite figured out but I don't think he's the candidate.
I agree w/ @Daniel and @Ryan that at the end of the series it's going to be Jack & Locke...what a great ending!

Ryan Paugh Whoa! I haven't been on State Street in months. I didn't know that they tore down Peace Park. Does anybody know what they're planning on doing with it?

The building in the site plan is very outdated though, but the location the same.

Erica: I was surprised when walking down State Street yesterday, too (and I make the walk pretty regularly). Thanks for the links!

Erica Is anyone planning on going to the Wisconsin Film Fest this year? If you are, what are you most looking forward to seeing?

113 weeks ago from The Madtown Crew

Erica: the film fest this year runs April 14-18th at 8 different venues. My friend and I are interested in Dzi Croquettes, among others.

Going to sit through all three of the "Red Riding" movies and see how functional my limbs are afterward. Should be fun!

Ryan Paugh We were all waiting for it. Last night we got it. What did everybody think about the Richard-centric LOST episode? I was happy w/ his back story, but thought we might get more info on the origins on Jacob & MIB, which we really didn't. Thoughts?

I don't think the heaven/hell thing works with the rest of the series though - how would the Dharma Initiative find a way to experiment in hell? I am still pretty lost, but happy to focus on someone other than Kate or Locke.

Steve, Smith+Fritzy -- I understood that Jacob was the cork keeping MIB from spilling out into the real world.

Richard's story seems to be a way of injecting the Jacob/MIB battle into the series just before the end of the series. The writers seem to be building up to the big finale with small pieces in each of the shows so far.

Jana -- with Widmore on the island, Desmond and Penny shouldn't be far behind.

Erica I'm working on re-tooling my resume and could use advice on how to best market my education. I went straight into an M.A. program out of undergrad. Been working part-time positions with a non-profit for the last year, but not in the field in which I got either of my degrees. Some friends have been hesitant to add their M.A. to their resume in fear that it will hinder job prospects -- is there any evidence to bear this out? How can I best market my education, in light of limited experience? Thx!

I have clients who struggle explaining their Phds to MBA types all of the time. People with Masters degrees do not seem to have the problem as long as they can translate their experience well. As Linda said, work with a pro who understands your goals and intentions and can re-word your communication to achieve your objectives.

Erica Do you think Sawyer's gamble to play Widmore & Not-Locke against one another will pay off? What do you think of Charlotte's reappearance last night?

Is that one going to be tomorrow?

Smith+Fritzy: Yup, tomorrow. I'll be sad if we get another lame episode, though.

Erica Turns out that the adoptive parents for Aaron weren't anyone "special" to the story in either timeline, but I can't help but think that the mother of Jack's son will be a surprise. Any thoughts who it might be?

Outside the conservatory was post-flight. By that time, they'd already lost Jack's dad's body, had the funeral, etc.

No reason I think the boy's mom is Juliet other than a hunch. If it was still Sarah, I don't feel like they would have made such a big deal last week about hiding who it was. Plus Jack and Juliet had a thing on the island, both are doctors, etc.

Karla Mercado I like the development so far. Last night's episode was really exciting and I can't wait to see the rest of it. Loved that fight scene between samurai dude and Sayid! And I stopped asking questions and making theories haha. I'm just confused and looking forward to how it all pans out. :)

I think it was the "infection", the "evil" inside of him that made him follow Locke. Remember when Ben met him at the pool, just after he killed Dogen (sad!!!) and Lennon? He looked CRAZY! Kinda like how Claire had become.

Betsy Wallace Any nonprofiteers working in Wisconsin? If so, we'd love your help with a new blog about Wisconsin's third sector (to keep it inclusive - not limited to just nonprofits!). We're hoping that this is one small step towards creating a stronger and more innovative nonprofit infrastructure in the state. We'd love this to be a collaborative effort - so any guest posts, ideas, tips, thoughts or suggestions you have would be much appreciated!
