I have worked at the boundary between off-line and on-line my entire life - modeling real-world nuances in the virtual world, so that the two worlds behave nearly identically. When done right, buildings don't fall down, factories run properly, and music sounds right. That's what I did in the past.

Now my team is building a social networking app that keeps professional reputations from being tarnished inadvertently, and helps consumers find the valuable professionals they need to run their lives smoothly.
