About Me

I am co-owner of the small but mighty communications shop known as DVQ Studio, where we work exclusively with non-profits and businesses with a social purpose. I help clients connect their mission to action. This isn't just about pretty brochures and fancy websites (although we certainly help our clients look good). This is about communications plans, messages, and tools that help organizations create awareness, build relationships, and increase support for their work.

When I'm not using communications to make social change, I'm volunteering with organizations such as the Michigan Women's Commission, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, and Blandford Nature Center. I also write poetry and have an unusual addiction to learning.
