About Me

I'm a journalist, writer and editor who recently moved from Boston to San Francisco for family reasons. I'm trying to re-establish my career in a new city in the middle of this crazy recession.

Before I drove across the country, I worked for a publishing company and wrote for newspapers. I'm open to exploring new careers and new ways to use my talent as a writer, especially because the Web is changing the business of writing in exciting ways.

The alternative, unusual and just plain random interest me. From working with helper monkeys trained to assist quadriplegics to living in China, I've had my share of offbeat jobs and experiences.
