About Me

Elliott Payne is a degreed mechanical engineer working in the ERP software industry as an implementation business consultant as he completes his MBA. Elliott currently blogs about his career and his interest in Web 2.0 at www.elliottpayne.com and culminates these interests in his studies through an emphasis in operations and marketing at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He has been blogging since 2003 where the cross-roads of his professional interests and personal interests have collided with the free time needed to maintain a website.
Elliott is also an active photographer and club DJ in the twin cities and beyond. In a past life, he hosted the electronic music radio program Soulful Science on KUOM Radio K, worked in a tissue factory, worked in a tool and die shop for the canning industry, and hand assembled the bearings used to manufacture ipod hard drives.
