Jennifer Nedeau is a blogger and writer based in Washington, DC. Jen’s blog, “Absurdities!”, covers the bizarre and wonderful in the world of news, music, and politics.
Jen grew up in San Francisco, CA and left the West Coast to attend The George Washington University, where she obtained a B.A. degree in Journalism in 2007. Jen currently works for New Media Strategies and previously pursued a career in political journalism where she wrote for Washingtonpost.com and Stateline.org. She is a member of Women in Politics and Technology and Women Who Tech, in addition to being a member on the Advisory Board for the New Leaders Council.
Beyond working, networking, and politicking, Jen can be seen riding her bike named “Free Spirit” through the streets of D.C., working on her manuscript about traveling through South America or baking cherry pies in her kitchen while listening to Brazilian Jazz.
