For all soon-to-be, already minted, deferred, or dropped-out SCIENCE PhD candidates, did getting your PhD/MS in your chosen field help or hinder in securing industry positions post-graduation? How long did you wait before doing the PhD post-college, what did you do? For those who dropped out: Why? Questions for science folk on grad school seems to be more of a "when" and "how" than "whether or not". Thoughts?
