I have dedicated my career to communications and marketing. I have a full range of hands-on experience implementing strategies for social media, media relations, communications planning, special event production and advertising.

  • ▪ Managed all communications, public relations and marketing projects for the state-wide nonprofit which works with local physicians, nurses and health departments to get children the vaccines they need to keep Colorado's kids healthy.

    ▪ This position includes planning and implementing the organization's social media presence. The organization utilized social media to encourage parents to vaccinate their children, share news articles and correct misinformation. It has also built a Twitter following of nearly 800 in three months - http://www.twitter.com/immunizecokids.

    ▪ Represented the organization at the Immunization Action Coalition's 2009 Social Media Summit, a gathering of immunization coalitions to create a national strategy for utilizing social media.
