I am a recent graduate of the University of Rochester. I am currently looking for an internship opportunity in antiquities and ancient cultures in the museum field.
I had a seasonal (summer) position working at Barnes and Noble in Brooklyn, NY between semesters at college. I assisted customers and stocked and maintained inventory in the store.
I was the first student from the University of Rochester to graduate in this interdisciplinary field. I graduated with distinction. My studies focused mainly on the ideas and practices of the ancient Greeks and Romans. My final research project compared the funerary architecture and domestic architecture of the ancient Romans with that of the Etruscans.
I began my study of archaeology in the Spring semester of 2009 (in North America; it was Fall in Australia) at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. My coursework included:
Egyptian Archaeology (An Introduction)
Rome: From Republic to Empire
Archaeology and Society
Prehistory to Pompeii: Archaeology in Ancient Italy
