Brett Kunsch Just watched this TED vid posted today: Nigel Marsh on "How to make work-life balance work" http://bit.ly/i1ruAc --> He raises the point that achieving balance does not have to be a dramatic upheaval in one's life - it's making those small changes that can make the biggest impact. I often hear from others that balance is elusive, but as Mr. Marsh argues, we have to take a *balanced* approach to finding balance. What if we changed our balance strategy? Could it help society find more peace?

Angie Paxton I graduated from Purdue with a 3.71 GPA. Why do I have to go to New York or California to get someone to be even remotely impressed with that?

Most of it is rhetoric as Indy just doesn't have the scale that the coasts have. However, keep working your local network in Indy--that is the best approach to a smaller market. You can send me a resume at david.anderson@visionsolutions.com. I don't have anything now but I'm happy to take a look. Purdue is a great school (This is even coming from an IU grad!) and a 3.71 is a great acheivement. Congrats!

David Anderson, SPHR Ok. I have what is probably a dumb question. But do I need to have Wordpress running from my machine to be able to use the wordpress plugins, like retweet? Or, is their simple code that I can copy and paste into a text widget? Thanks.

If you are hosting a WordPress blog, then you can upload plugins to your heart's content. I don't know enough about pasting text into the Text Widget to know if you can get the retweet functionality going.

I tried pasting in the retweet button code from retweet.com, and Wordpress.com removed it from my post. It looks like your stuck unless Wordpress.com starts adding plugins or offers them as an upgrade.

Jordy Clements Does anyone include a facebook share button on their blog (http://www.facebook.com/facebook-widgets/share.php)? I see a lot of Retweet buttons, but not facebook. Just wondering if people think they're useful/will bring in traffic, or just add more clutter.

It's available for download at http://disparate.info/plugins/simple-fb-share-button/ and you can see it in practice on my site.

It looks like you guys went a different route, but in case you decide to use them, I think the key to having them both align vertically was adding this css property to the style field in the settings menu: "clear: both". Would love your opinion on how it looks: http://bit.ly/5hqu6T (sorry if that seems like baiting traffic)

Rebecca Thorman Are you always blurring work into life, or do you sometimes blur life into work? Like, do you do personal things at work?

I do only necessary personal things at werk but try to separate my chunks of time otherwise I feel like I need to make it up all the time as I need to know that I have not ripped off the company (even though I have werked way more in the past that would make it up). But like Daniel said, in the end it is and should be just all about the deliverables.
