Vanessa Alvarado: Lavender smells amazing, one of the best fragrances on earth. But it's never lulled me to sleep.

I'm really trying not to do this anymore though. I really ran myself ragged last fall and I'm done. I've found that when I sacrifice sleep, I'm not as productive and I walk around in a blur. Plus it promotes pre-mature aging..not worth it! Right now I'm just trying to focus on the key things that need to be accomplished to keep me productive and healthy. So far it is working out ok. and...L'Occitane Lavender Shea butter hand cream is my favorite lavender luxury :)

Guy McDowell What about creating just for the sake of creating? Is that a responsible use of man's creativity?

122 weeks ago from Creatively Inspired

Vanessa Alvarado: It's the natural use of man's creativity. I am, therefore I create. If you're not creating, you're not living.

The act of creating: giving form to the not yet formed, has given us some of the world's greatest art. Even if no purpose is fulfilled, I think creating is most often a healthy activity.

I actually don't like Thesis - you can always tell when someone has used the theme, and I don't think it's as nice as many of the others. Just my POV.

John Gillmer Hi, everyone! I've just joined Brazen Careerist, so I may seem a little green with this post. Is there anyone here who, like me, has a strong compulsion towards re-using old, discarded things to create something new (e.g. an LED flashlight inside an empty ChapStick container)?
