I'm a flight instructor and the owner and author of MySkyMom.com, a website providing aviation news and flight training materials as well as an ever popular "Dear Abby" style question and answer column for pilots and student pilots. I'm currently hard at work behind the scenes to add more content and greater functionality to the site, which should evolve into a comprehensive resource for aviation education and scholarships. Look for exciting new features to come online in the next few months! My company and I are enthusiastically on the lookout for partnerships with like minded individuals and organizations who make aviation and aerospace education a top priority and are finding creative ways to open the hanger doors to those who want to come fly with us.
Remember, "The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask."And please, don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have or suggestions regarding ways in which we might work together in educating pilots and non pilots alike and providing the opportunity for a few more to take to the skies. Fly safe, fly smart, fly happy!
I'm actively building an online educational resource for pilots, student pilots, and aviation enthusiasts. Updated continuously throughout the day, MySkyMom.com and the associated weekly email newsletter are read by an international audience. Those looking for timely aviation news, aviation humor, flight training information, and answers to their specific questions about all facets of aviation land here.
Popular social networking sites, notably Facebook and Twitter, announce the issuance of each new blog post (at least 6-9 times per month) and increased traffic marks each event. Excellent search engine optimization increases our audience still further between blog posts. The weekly email newsletter draws traffic back to the site and provides it’s own marketing opportunities.
I get into airplanes with people who don't know how to fly them. My office has the best view in the city! I provide individually tailored flight and ground instruction to student pilots, private and commercial pilots, instrument pilots, flight instructors, and multi engine pilots as well as teach popular classroom style ground school courses.
I taught private lessons for violin and viola students of all ages and various ability. I coached small ensembles and started an adult beginners' orchestra. I organized recitals for my students on a regular basis.
