Brett Kunsch Is there a point where you have to stop when you have enough information? There is just SO much of it out there that it all competes for my attention and the limited hard drive space I have in my brain. When new information comes in, it can synthesize with the old, but many times I find it just hurts my memory and deludes my knowledge. So, is there a stopping point?

Dana K. Dwyer: Always pay attention to that point where information gathering is keeping you from taking action. Ere on the side of action.

I can let go of the need to hoard information, especially that which is not actionable NOW. Google is always there for me, as is Delicious.

Right now, the only info I have written down are my action items for the day on a 3x5 index card next to my keyboard :)

I know the information will be there when I need it.The highly contributive internet community doubles the amount of information every two years. Extraordinary!

We started with just entry and exit counseling, and have moved into creating a community with three dedicated editors, and many great submissions from regular contributors who give great insight into entering the "real world" (shudder!).

After having my computer stolen and my accounts broken into (BIG drag), I set my browser to delete cookies, history, cache, etc. every time I exit, just to be as secure as possible. After that, I noticed sites that used to remember my email or username didn't anymore, even if I checked "Remember Me." If you're not having the problem on other sites, it's probably not your settings, but I thought I'd mention it, just in case.

Daniel Saynuk When I open a website, like Amazon.com, I'm automatically put into my account so I need not enter my password. However when clicking on a email from Brazen Careerist I always need to enter my email/password prior to viewing a comment/ joining a Group etc. Why is this & how can I stop it?

TOP IDEA: Daniel Sunshine I'm starting a new media innovation and trends group and would like to invite Brazen members to get in touch if you are interested in playing a roll. The group will identify top online and tech trends and will collaborate to create blog posts on the subjects. This is a great way to focus on topics that interest you and feature your insights to a broader audience. I used to head National Geographic's Gen Y Trends Group and love analyzing the impact of innovation. Post a comment if interested.

Daniel Saynuk I hope you can help me. I want to start a business but want to trademark the name. Should I trademark the entire name such as ""Business Name LLC" or will I be protected if I just trademark "Business Name" and then add LLC after I've formed the entity & file the form to transfer the ownership of the trademark from myself to ownership by the LLC?

This costs at least $275, and probably much more because you'll want to hire an attorney to do it right. It makes sense to file for this protection if the name is the "perfect" name for the good or service or if you've built considerable goodwill into the brand (name) that you'd be protecting, but might not be worth the money otherwise.

Even if you don't file, there are still lesser common law protections.

Hope that helps!
