Latest Google Cache of your homepage was Jan 31, and it has what appears to be a broken WP theme. So once Google re-indexes your site, it should pick up the new Meta Description and use that. Or it will grab some copy from the page if it feels like your current Meta Description is either too short or not valuable. Not much you can do right now other than wait, however. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Dan Reno Hi all, I'd like to start exploring the Zend Framework as yet another option to develop websites. Anyone have a favorite book and/or resource to help a ZF newbie get started? Any additional info on why it's your favorite would be very helpful, too. I also realize that http://framework.zend.com/ is a great place to start, but I'm really just wondering if there's anything better outside of what Zend has to offer. Thanks!

I think if you're trying to build something enterprise-grade and need the fine control, then by all means - but it's not a very "fast" framework like Ruby, Django or CodeIgniter.

Tony B. Nelson I used to manage a few sites SEO efforts about 10 years ago while working for a marketing firm. At the time we used Web Position Gold as a primary tool to register sites and evaluate key word success. I'm currently working with a couple new clients to do SEO on their sites. Questions: Does anyone use Web Position Gold anymore? I heard Google blacklisted them, is this true? I'm using SEO Book right now for reviewing positions etc. Any software suggestions to register sites to search engines?

They have a GREAT set of tools and other materials with their pro (and free) membership; including ones that will help you find new directories/sites to get links from, etc. In fact, I don't even have enough room here to begin talking about all their tools and how great they are. Cheers

Vikas Sah: It is best to submit your sites through webmaster interfaces. SEO Spy Glass is a good set of tools for rank checking.

Chad Cooper I recently started running the Headway theme on my site. It solved a lot of the headaches I was having with modifying other themes to get the formatting I wanted. It's not free, but it saved me a ton of time. http://bit.ly/2pqBG0

Definitely a very attractive option. Not sure I like that the Headway developer option requires an extra $40 in licensing fees for every site you put it on and do not own. But I guess that's really not too bad at all considering how much you can charge for developing a client's site. Both Thesis and Headway require the cred footer link for their personal options, however. I guess they have to build links somehow, right?

Dan Reno Google Closure: bit.ly/AnEoT Clearly has web-wide benefits, but what about the SEO? I'm guessing this could really help Google with crawling JS; especially for sites that use JS heavily. Any thoughts?

Randy Zeitman What is the value of a reverse link? Everyone says to link but how many will do the trick? How much is too much to pay for a good link?

Vikas Sah: Links from site that have very little outgoing links and have high pagerank are of higher value.

One keyword rich text link coming from a site that is topically relevant and has high authority or link popularity will be much more beneficial than 5 (or even more) links from sites that are not topically relevant and have little or no authority.
