I got started in Search Engine Marketing/Optimization at about 18 years old while just starting college. Since then, my SEO career has taken over most of my time and has also been the reason I am still just slowly getting through my undergrad.
Over the last year and a half or so, I discovered that I have a bit of a knack for the technical side of things. That was really jump-started in the last 6 months when I had to learn the BASH command-line syntax after just installing Ubuntu on a personal laptop. Call me a geek, but I fell in love at that moment.
So since then, it has been all about moving my career down the developer path. I plan to stick with the web, as that is where the vast majority of my work experience (and enjoyment) lies. I love the Interwebs. With that said, being a SEO-oriented PHP developer is where I feel that my skills can most aptly be applied.
Drive performance of the programs I manage using the proprietary proxy-based Search Engine Optimization product called GravityStream.
