I am a Learning and Development professional. I currently work at a law firm with a focus on training technology and improving people and processes through education and coaching. I conduct informal and formal training using classroom techniques, live web training and creating self paced tutorials. I also teach people the value of social media and how to integrate it into various business processes.
Responsible for the design, development, documentation, facilitation, assessment and continued growth of the firm’s Orientation and support staff training programs.
• Act as an internal consultant with office managers on employee development issues.
• Manage a comprehensive Onboarding plan customized for the varying levels of new employees. The plan ensures new employees meet performance targets 30, 60, 90 and 180 days after arrival.
• Design employee training programs that positively impact the quality and efficiency of work delivered to the client.
• Manage the Technology component of the firm’s Attorney Professional Development program.
• Teach technology training programs and provide individual coaching to support employee development.

Led the training and development of Marines at various levels within the Direct Air Support Center.
• In support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, served as Maintenance Non-commissioned officer for the Forward Unit Marine Air Support Squadron-3. Responsible for communication continuity between the Ground Combat Element and support aircraft. Awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for placing Marines in key positions based on strengths and skill sets while managing the maintenance of equipment during combat operations into Baghdad and Tikrit.
• Trained new Marines on the processes and procedures of fiber optic repair, radio maintenance, troubleshooting and replacing circuit board components.
• Served as mentor and coach, teaching the complex dynamics of leading Marines to junior non-commissioned officers.
• Selected junior enlisted for leadership positions as they transitioned to non-commissioned officers.
