About Me

I am a UNCG alumni currently employed as a Bilingual Legal Assistant and Spanish Translator at a law firm in Greensboro, NC. I have a dual degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies, and a minor in Communication Studies. I love traveling, and I was lucky enough to be able to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Madrid, Spain during my college career. I am also a ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and I love working out, staying healthy, and helping others do the same. Ever since my very first Communication Studies course I have been fascinated with human communication and learning about why people "are the way they are", and I would like to get a Masters degree in Counseling. I have been told that I possess an ability to understand the unique situations and problems people are going through, provide them with advice, encouragement, or information to help them improve or change their situation, as well as ways to understand how they got there to begin with. In my free time I assist my boyfriend (who owns his own dealership and service shop)with his company's HR needs by writing and posting job opening descriptions, fielding applicants, and utilizing social networks to connect, network and exchange referrals with other industry professionals.
