I help people develop strategies and take meaningful action towards achieving career goals. My philosophy encourages you to take an active role in managing your career path and to do so with a holistic point-of-view in order to achieve a truly nourishing professional experience.
You'll notice that my education and professional background are diverse; a consequence of my natural curiosity, creativity and passion for learning and experiencing new things. In my career, I've faced some challenging professional situations where I had to deeply explore my values and purpose. As a result, after four years in banking, I changed my career path to study nutrition and wellness. At the same time, I started to explore my passion for writing and began blending this skill into my nutrition practice and office work.
I realized quickly that I spent a lot of time coaching my nutrition clients on career issues, most of which revolved around stress and lack of fulfillment. This was really my "sweet spot" and I soon shifted my career focus towards professional development. In 2006, while working in the field of Wealth Management, I created The Executive Assistant's Toolbox, a website offering personal and professional development advice. Two years later, I sold the business to OfficeArrow.com, a new online community for office professionals. Today, I am still the Managing Editor for OfficeArrow and I’m also the founder of EatYourCareer.com.
I am passionate about sharing my unique career success strategies through my writing, professional speaking and training, and career coaching services.
I also offer writing and editing services to select groups outside of the career advice niche. This allows me to stretch my writing capabilities and explore exciting new fields.
