About Me
I am a young professional just entering the nonprofit sector through a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA. Come November, I will be returning to Ohio in search of a career in Social Studies education, either in the classroom or out. I am particularly interested in educational programming through cultural institutions (i.e. museums) or with non-profit organizations. I am currently serving with an organization called The PeaceJam Foundation, in its northeast affiliate office. We work with 12 Nobel Peace Prize winners to create K-12 curriculum based off of their lives and work to inspire youth to take a more active role in their communities through service learning initiatives.
