About Me

Well my name is Chris Paugh and I started my career at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia as a Lab Assistant and Blood Drawing Technician. Then one day, I was talking to a colleague who was exploring the idea of starting a non-profit organization for senior business executives, in the tri-state area, to come together to discuss important business issues in a seminar or workshop type environment. That is when the focus of my career changed.

I joined my colleague and helped build the non-profit organization called “The International Business Forum.” The experience I gained from starting a nonprofit is invaluable, in that I learned so much from wearing all those different hats!

Then I met my wonderful husband, relocated to Northern New Jersey, and joined Arthur Andersen & Co. to coordinate Recruiting, HR and Staffing efforts. Then it happened, my one and only son can along.

After getting my son off to a good start, we relocated to Central New Jersey and I joined Merck & Co., Inc., where I have been working for the past 14 years. I started out as an Assistant for Corporate Computer Resources and presently work as a Portfolio Manager for Corporate Global Services, and as a Merck Six Sigma Black Belt.

I am very proud of my son, RYAN PAUGH, FOUNDER of this social network, BrazenCareerist.com, which has been called out by the press as the “LinkedIn for Generation Y.” A great thing about Brazen is anyone can JOIN and become part of the community!!
