Jay Hepner Enjoyed the webinar, guys. Could talk forever about the nexus between what's boring revealing, and what's interesting revealing. I find almost everything interesting, so not such a good judge. Look was superior to earlier ones. You guys both looked relaxed. Pen, I think you're right about Ryan's "Playgirl" pose because, try as I might, I couldn't help but notice his left foot in the foreground. He's got a really long foot. You might even say it's a foot long. I'm just saying...

Penelope Trunk Thanks for all of the great ideas for tomorrow's webinar. We are going to go with a topic about blogging again: How to build an audience on your blog. Here is a link to where you sign up: http://bit.ly/53hgNj Maybe you'll consider sharing the link with your friends, or Twitter followers, or something. The conversation will be better if more people attend. Thanks.

Is there going to be a way to integrate games into the media of brazen? Is there any plans for a Penelope classroom session weekly/bi weekly, or to cultivate the brazen way? The network now... and ask questions when they arise. The leap and find the ground mentality is a great mantra for Gen Y thinking. Thanks for your time ;)

Stephanie Springer My boss tells me that one of my goals for the year is to mentor others. But I subscribe to the organic growth theory - I didn't ask my mentors to be mentors, our relationship just developed after I took the initiative to ask them about their lives and their careers. I'm not really sure how to approach someone and volunteer to mentor them when they don't seem interested in my help. How do you mentor someone who doesn't seem interested in being mentored?

Your boss must see a wealth of information flowing from you and wants to see you grow. This act of mentoring is going to help you just as much as it helps them. I would jot down the three things that help you the most when you were being mentored. Then paint a picture or create a presentation to inspire others. Weren't You inspire by your mentor? Trying being more open, give advice to someone who is interested in the conversation.

Kathleen Kurke Since the gift card is merely symbolic (obviously, the recommendations were "priceless" so it's not as though you're reimbursing folks for their kind acts, I think you have to come up with a way for the gift card to be an accurate symbol of the intention you're trying to communicate. Example: A Starbucks card worth $10 that says "I hope we can get together over a cup of coffee soon".

Stanley Lee I have had a day where I have been flooded with different functional team meetings (for different courses and organizations), and walking through a technical career fair (which I wasn't very effective today, knowing that the particular opportunities are either too competitive for me or not fulfilling enough, i.e. I don't want to apply for them knowing that they suck, but that's another story). How do you all tackle situations/days where you felt you haven't accomplished any or enough tasks? Thx.

The thing is I've had problems finding even "decent" match, if you want to use that analog. Before I digress, my main question was really about how to cope with moments of minimal productivity. Perhaps I'm too tough on myself, although I physically and emotionally feel miserable coping with the workload and knowing little has accomplished.

It sounds like you accomplished quite a lot today actually, but it is your feelings that are tied into your activities. Your mood and what you have accomplished can be 2 different things. I can have certain feelings about a job (not liking it)and so when I put it on my resume I downplay my achievements or don't realize them. I've had to mentally take a step back and separate accomplishments/tasks from feelings - they don't always match. Also, I've never found a career fair helpful.

Cameron Plommer Seem that if you want to talk about ANYTHING in your blog, first you need an overall theme (career, social media, business, environment), then incorporate whatever you want to talk about into that theme. That's what I plan to do in the future with my blog. I will have "applying economics" as my theme, then apply that theme to whatever issue I feel like talking about. What do you think of this?

Jake I just wrote a big subject about blogging but went to far over the 500 character limit. While I was reading through it to sum it up I clicked on something which took me away from this page, there for destroying my work. But I guess this can still relate to blogging. When you write something completely interesting and unique and a terrible human/computer error happens and erases it from the earth, you can never get it back. Of course you can duplicate it but you will always leave a bit behind.
