Mehnaz Thawer Do you read books more than once? It's really difficult for me to read something again, unless it's really really good.

Kristen Creager: Fiction yes, nonfiction no. I've read Gone With The Wind probably 20 times...sad but true

I agree with someone who mentioned spiritual books like the Bible.

Chris Hughes Do you think resumes are becoming more and more irrelevant and that blogs will take over as social resumes?

Hannah Kane I'm a huge coffee drinker- but since caffeine has really lost its effect on me (3 espressos later and I'm still wiped), I'm trying to cut down on my intake. Which means that the last week my productivity has been fairly low. Anyone else decide to cut caffeine out? Was it a good choice? Or is anyone an avid caffeine junkie?

Ha, you're right about that Sarah, I probably do need more sleep :D

And I haven't had coffee still since I posted this, only tea. Now I'm trying to decide if it's OK to go for the coffee again (which I do love for its taste more than its side effects), or if I would rather just cut it out entirely.

Very relaxing, with some ambient music, and few quiet minutes.

Chris Hughes I'm going to be hosting a e-commerce workshop for business owners in the Orlando, FL area this month... send me a message if you are interested in coming, tickets will only be $250! I'll only be opening 25 seats though, so I can get really in-depth coaching with the business owners

Dean Soto I know the network is "How to give a Good Speech" but you can't give a good speech if you have nowhere to speak. What are your tips for getting speaking engagements?

For speaking engagements that are not just local, I recommend putting yourself out there through Brazen, Twitter and your blog and letting people know you've done speaking engagements before. Also, make sure you apply to speak at conferences - opportunities won't just fall in your lap! And finally, build relationships with other speakers and let them know you'd like to start speaking. When they can't make a speech, they'll refer you.

Dean Soto: These are seriously really good. Thanks guys! Joined up with the local chamber, contacting other speakers that I know. Great stuff!

Chris Hughes Starting off with a question or a statement that captivates the audience has always worked pretty well for me. Too many people are boring with their speeches and it loses the attention of the audience before a message can even be shared. Taking the time to make the speech fun and memorable as well as educational is difficult, but worth the time. If you've got any sort of talent, that helps as well. I juggle so often include that in speeches and relate it to what I'm speaking on :)

In more contemporary literature I would have to say Jim Loehr's "Power of Story" has been the most influential to me.
