About Me

I have been a creative recruiter in New York City for well over twenty years placing art directors, graphic designers, web designers, Mac production artists, print production experts, and more into the top ad agencies, design firms and Fortune 500 companies in New York and throughout the country.

More recently, in 2009, I founded CatapultMe, an online resource for all your creative career needs. With years of experience knowing what my clients look for in top candidates, CatapultMe brings you all the tips and knowledge not generally available on how to write winning resumes that will be read, how to improve your portfolios so they will be seen, how to handle job interviews, conduct a successful job search and more.

CatapultMe has grown into a full career and life coaching service over the last two years offering intuitive guidance to those seeking transition or change in any aspect of their career or creative lives.

  From in-depth psychoanalysis I am very aware of psychological concepts in matters of self-esteem, negative thinking, and trauma from the past that can hold one back.

• Cheryl Roshak Associates was the first recruitment firm in America to specialize in computer graphics back in 1988 when computers were still thought of as toys and most believed they would never replace traditional methods of design, layout, retouching and printing. It became a major creative recruitment firm in New York City with both a temp and perm division servicing ad agencies, design firms, and Fortune 500 companies.

  As a major player in the New York City market, we've successfully placed art directors, graphic designers, web designers and ancillary service people such as Mac production pros and print production managers.

• Responsible for the Print Production and Studio Services Division of this prestigious recruitment firm in New York City. Developed and maintained all clients for this department; handled all job orders; sourced and interviewed all candidates; attended trade shows, design events, award shows and memberships in industry related professional groups.
