People often don't get what they want because they are scared, or they wait too long. I was at a bookstore with a friend and said, "I should write a book about the ins and outs of serving that tells readers what it's like to wait tables, and how to be a good customer." Moments later, she spotted the book "Waiter Rant." Zing. I'd visited the blog and seen the author on Oprah. He simply acted before me. That said, I better get my book proposal done before I see my idea on the shelves!

About Me

I’m Charlotte Nyirenda-Mutesha by birth, but you can call me mizChartreuse. Or Char, or Char-Char, or Chartreusey, or Egomaniacal/Dissociative Bitch who Judges People by Their Looks and Astrological Signs (Gemini here). I’m a writer, storyteller, and recovering journalism student, and that’s pretty much all I care about. That, and vodka, or a nice sauvignon blanc.

Beyond the vino, however, I am a Fierce Entrepreneur at heart.

I am currently writing my first book, The Fierce Entrepreneur: Redefining Success, which is about female business owners who built their companies from scratch and are doing fabulous things in their respective industries. I’ve also been contracting my writing services for individuals, companies, and nonprofits for over five years, which led to the birth of my entrepreneurial business, Charlotte’s Web of Writing.

Writing has always been my main gift and priority from the time I was a child, reading 15 books each week and writing 100-page novels using an old typewriter. My formal education helped to hone my God-given skills and taught me about the aspects of running a business and utilizing technology, which is constantly changing.

I enjoy challenges, love helping people, and strive for a fierce, flawless, and fabulous standard with my work. My parents instilled in me an entrepreneurial mindset from a young age, and I appreciate those who do as well.
