As Help Desk Team Lead, my role is to monitor the JCALS Enterprise status and delegate tier II and tier III help requests to correct engineering groups. JCALS, part of the Department of Defense's Continuous Acquisition and Life-cycle Support strategy, supports uniform logistic and acquisition engineering, management, materiel management, and other life-cycle functional processes.
I use my experience for business development presentations to potential non-military DoD customers of the JCALS infrastructure. Additionally, I conduct training of new team members in the applications and how they are deployed in the field.
Outside of work, I am an active committee member of a local Boy Scouts of America Troop. I am a Tae Kwon Do student, having recently earned my 1st Dan (Black Belt). I am a coach for The Miracle League of Lehigh Valley baseball league.
Monitors and reports on status of JCALS Enterprise, a defense logistics application. Handles tier II and III support for end users. Served as Version Release Manager for software maintenance drop; project came in on time and on budget.
Held the role of Requirements Lead/Functional Advocate, wherein I acted as liaison to Navy clients with Development Programmers for applications created to integrate with JCALS infrastructure. Provided end-user training upon deployment for several applications including, Form E-61, DLA339/ESA, JEF and FasTrak. Conducted hundreds of hours of training to systems administrators who were fielded to support the application.
