Ryan Paugh I've been really busy lately, so I'm really into finding quick-cook recipes that aren't total junk. Last night I found this blog post - http://bit.ly/2axrrB - and cooked the Lentil recipe. It was a hit.

Ryan Paugh: Cassie, they have canned everything these days ... I'm all about doing it from scratch, but after a long day sometimes you just need to cut corners.

Jenn Sutherland Back with another awesome autumnal recipe - spicy butternut squash tacos with caramelized onions. So good, I made it 2x this weekend! http://thewholekitchen.blogspot.com/2009/11/spicy-butternut-squash-tacos...

Ryan Paugh: I have a butternut squash sitting in my kitchen. This is perfect. Thanks Jenn.

I'm trying to hone my Twitter skills. How do you attract followers, while avoiding the spam followers? Is it really all about content or is there more to it?

: Great tips guys, I'll try them out!

I think the biggest thing is to stop worrying about getting followers. Use Twitter to listen to what people are saying about topics you care about. Listen and then engage in the conversation. People will then check your stuff out. If put out good content, they'll follow. Don't worry about the number though..Just listen and engage.

Scott Asai Just finished reading Pop! Create the perfect pitch, title and tagline for anything. It's a great "workbook" to help you clearly communicate what you do!

117 weeks ago from Personal Branding

Cassie Holman: I was peeking at that at B&N yesterday. Caught my interest, good to have a Brazen recommendation!

Trace Cohen: Haven't heard of that but will look into it!

Cassie Holman Do you ever have clients, partners, co-workers etc who resist new media or don't think it is relevant to them? (Even tho you know it is!)

I mean, come on, they're still emphazing HTML over XTML and Java. Plus, it's pretty hard to get a job as a grad as a social media person... Lots of places think you're just going to slack off all day and/or want someone with 10+ years of experience. Forget the fact that 10+ years often means more of the same... Sorry, I'm a little bitter.

Cassie Holman Also, incredible pieces at yard sales. A little paint or fabric is an easy DIY! Midwest peeps, we must wait for the warmth for these :(

Cassie Holman I buy $1 frames from 2nd hand stores & paint, decoupage, bedazzle, whatever to them. Unique, cheap & they can match any room in your place

120 weeks ago from DIY Designers & Upcyclers

Ryan Paugh: Hey! I've done that too! Minus the bedazzle part, but you're right, it's cheap and it looks really cool.

Cassie Holman This surprised me: not paying fines-even library fines or parking tickets-lowers credit score! I have $20 fine for lost library book..yikes

121 weeks ago from Personal Finance

: I have the same issue on a toll fine that I paid, but the toll road still shows that I owe it even after I sent them a copy of the check.

Beth Oppenheim-Chan I was wondering what people's advice/tips were for fitting exercise into a daily schedule alongside work?

121 weeks ago from Productivity & Time-Management

Melanie Lopez: I like to workout at the end of the day so I don't have to get all dressed up again and re-do my hair! Having a set time to go helps too.
Cassie Holman: I always carry a set of workout clothes in my car...looking at them all day seems to serve as some kind of motivator to hit the gym!

Cassie Holman If a job listing says "no phone calls please", do you follow up call about your resume/application anyways? Persistence..or annoyance?

126 weeks ago from Ask Penelope Trunk!
