I'm the Editor at TalentEgg, Canada's career hub for college and university students and recent grads.
I graduated from Ryerson University's School of Journalism in 2009 with a Bachelor of Journalism, specialized in print journalism. While completing my degree, I was a writer and editor for multiple publications, including two student newspapers and the university's award-winning feminist magazine, McClung's. I also completed a reporting internship with one of Canada's two national newspapers, The National Post.
I launched my career with TalentEgg as its first employee during the summer of 2008, between my third and fourth years of university, when I came on as a Sales & Marketing Intern. I kept in touch with TalentEgg's founder through the fall and began working part-time for the company while completing my last semester of school. In February 2009, I helped launch the TalentEgg Career Incubator and essentially scored myself a full-time, permanent job. I've been there ever since!
