I'm an undergraduate college student at Indiana University Bloomington majoring in International Business and Spanish. Since 2010, I have been a Writing Tutor at Writing Tutorial Services, part of IU's Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning.
This semester, I am studying psychology, international business, and Spanish. I have a position as the Editor-in-Chief of the Indiana Standard, a small, monthly publication.
I like traveling. In 2011, I studied in Quito, Ecuador and I taught English at an alternative school. Ecuador made the US ambassador a persona non grata while I was there and asked her to leave as quickly as possible. In 2010, I went to Beijing, China and studied with undergraduates and MBA students at the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University. I was in China when South Korea's allegations about the Cheonan came out and Tim Geithner and Hillary Clinton were trying to convince Beijing to unpeg the renminbi. In 2009, I went to Le Caousou in Toulouse, France with a handful of other students from Brebeuf Jesuit. Obama had just been elected. In 2008, I spent my summer in Valencia, Spain, when the euro peaked against the dollar and Spain won the Eurocup.
I help IU students, including undergraduates and graduates, to improve their writing skills. I support them in every step of the writing process, including brainstorming, researching, outlining, and revising.
I edit articles about current events and political issues.
