I have always loved writing, reading, and speaking. Since a young age, I have been interested in how people interact and how they form relationships.

Fast-forward several years to May, 2008, when I graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Communication Studies. During my senior year at JMU, I started my group blog Life Before Noon where I write about Gen Y, personal development and social media. I currently reside in the Boston area where I am a Master's student at Emerson College's Global Marketing Communication program.

My work experiences include internships at PepsiCo and Nautica in Internal Communications and Public Relations. I hope to build a career which touches my passions, talents and love for traveling.

Life Before Noon has been featured in Read Write Web as a top Gen Y blog. I have spoken to college audiences, including MIT, about the importance of blogging.
