If you've not co-oped or interned, you ...MoreSchool is different from "the real world". School teaches the "what to know" teaches "who and how". If you've not co-oped or interned, you probably don't understand how to run an effective meeting, how important it is to build and maintain a network, how to influence without authority, how to be responsible with money without your parents or a Stafford loan helping, or what "leadership" truly means. So unless you have a specific plan (Be a chef, be a lawyer, be a professor, be a dentist), I would not continue to amass degrees just to ride out the economy. I could say more ... but you should read Penelope Trunk's entries about law school or getting an MBA ... she's much more eloquent than I am.
