About Me
Cameron Schaefer, author of Schaefer's Blog, is a C-17 pilot in the US Air Force. He was raised in Laramie, Wyoming then attended the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO where he majored in Management. After graduating in 2006, Cameron attended Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) at Vance AFB in Enid, OK where he flew over 200 hours in the T-6 Texan and T-1 Jayhawk.
When not flying or writing about everything from war to wine on his blog, Cameron enjoys putting together IKEA furniture with his wife and two children, reading, playing golf, drinking breve mochas at Starbucks and doing pretty much anything outdoors from running to skiing.
