I'm starting to realize that I don't need more information on HOW to do something. Instead what I find most useful is information (books, blogs, whatever) that inspires me to do something. Whether it's inspiration to learn a new topic, get in shape or be a better person. The How-to is only applicable at a low level because what works for one person may not work for another. With that said, what have you read or read regularly that inspires you?

There's a lot of talk about how we as a society don't use our time away from work well. We watch too much TV and are not that productive with our time. Many people say that we should be using our time away from work to do projects by ourselves on the side. I love this attitude and wish I could do it, but I don't think it's all that realistic. This attitude ignores the fact that most of us have families, friends and significant others that we need to spend time with. Your thoughts?

Remember when you were in college and you wanted to "change the world?" I did, but soon realized that I can do very little with only 23 years of living. It's a dangerous attitude to come out of college wanting to change the world. In college everything is simplified when you get out you then realize you don't know shit about how the world actually works. And that is the key to changing things: first you need to know how it works. Then you can work on solutions. Thoughts? Am I wrong?

A blog can be a powerful tool if you know how to use it. I've studied how some of the most successful published authors like Wired Magazine's Chris Anderson and 37 Signals used their blogs to create content for bestselling books. Read more here: http://bit.ly/9sNxlo

Organization is the key to productivity. If you have an organized system in place that easily captures and stores your ideas, you can capitalize on them quicker, with less effort and without reinventing the wheel. I create systems that work and I would love to teach more people, especially creatives that have tons of ideas how they can benefit from a little organization.

I think a lot of high school and college grads are at a real disadvantage when they enter the real world. School ignores so many practical skills and doesn't push students to be remarkable. I'd like to set up some kind of school, workshop or program that gives students the information, resources and motivation to be remarkable people. Which in turn will hopefully lead to better people and employees. Thoughts. Criticism. Business partners???
