About Me

I've produced and directed award-winning docos for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Al-Jazeera and ABC (US) News. I've also directed ads for Tourism Malaysia and other major corporates.

But besides all that stuff that brings food to the table, my main passion are still docos and films that elicit a positive change in human behaviour, not explicitly, but in a quiet beautiful way -the way that BBC's Planet Earth or the film Baraka always make me think act for our planet, no matter how many times I've seen it (last count 20th)

I've filmed and worked around Asia and Middle East and have a knowledge and passion for the region.

Currently I'm with my first love, running news for NHK Japan concentrating on South Asia and Pacific Rim.
